molecules and their effect in the body is very complex. In addition to the effect of cannabinoids on the endocannabinoid system (ECS), there are a large number of binding sites at the molecular level. Furthermore, the effects are polymodal. Cannabinoids are often used in the form of plant extracts, which leads to an even more complex polypharmacological effect. In the course of my research and my work with cannabinoids, I have also taken the opportunity to pass on my knowledge. Due to my work as a medical product consultant and managing director of cannmedic, an Austrian medical product distributor specialising in women's health and cannabinoids, these target groups often revolve around the topic of women's health and intimate health. From my point of view, it is very important to inform not only medical professionals but also users about the background of cannabinoids in medicine. Knowledge about the use of cannabinoids in medicine is still very limited among medical professionals. It seems to be a good way to refer interested patients to their doctors to familiarise themselves with the topic.
